how long does monistat 1 take to work?

so yesterday I took Monistat 1, the ovule. within 2-3 hours I felt a burning feeling that was so uncomfortable. today the burning feeling was really mild and my discharge has turned yellow and clumpy. i’m worried because I can’t tell if it’s working or making my infection worse. I have a GYN appointment this upcoming week, but I would like someone to give their opinion or share a similar experience. i’m freaking out 😓

Monistat 1 is usually too strong and can actually make things worse because of it. I've never tried it, only the 7 day

I’ve used Monistat once and never will again. It was way too strong for me and caused a lot of irritation and burning and it didn’t fix the issue. My doctor told me the best one is the 7 day because it takes time to treat the infection and get rid of it properly.

It's normal for it to burn or not to burn. It burned a little bit for me, but I don't remember having any type of clumps or any strange discharge. I know the stuff can leak so thats why they recommend to do it and lay down.

It shouldnt burn...at least ive never had it burn when using it. you should call your doctor and get the right treatment for your infection
