Do condoms make sex painful for you?

Every time my boyfriend wears one, sex is really painful/uncomfortable and half of the time my vagina tears! We have been having sex for a couple of months now. We never skip foreplay but he has a big, thick penis and I'm pretty small. I'm always wet and we even use lube to cover the condom but no luck!  Do you have this problem too? How did you solve it?

You could have a latex allergy . I thought since it was fine everywhere else I was ok, but turns out my vagina , mouth , and anything else open reacted bad to latex

You might be allergic to either the condom or the lubricant or spermicide. Try a different kind.

I'm allergic to latex and condoms use to dry me out so fast and sex would burn. Nonlatex condoms aren't as affected and don't  protect against STD's so be cautious if you switch.

I have the same problem. The skin at the bottom of the vagina kept tearing with me and it became really sore and painful. I went to the doctor but they could not figure out why this was happening. In the end they had to cut it and stitch it to make the opening a little bigger. It is better now but I notice it still tears and can be sore. It turns out I have a latex allergy. Use non latex and lots of lube.

I have the same problem and have not found any solution. I went on the pill when we got married. Sex is painful for me anyway, but much less painful bare back.

Try a different brand.  Ribbed helped in my case.  The friction of the rubber hurt, rubbed was odd, but not as painful.

Before my latex allergy I always hated condoms, they felt so dry and awful.

When I had to switch I started using Lamb Skin. Things are still tight (with or without) but they stay nice and lubricated and feel like they're not even on.

When we first started using them we actually had one come off on accident (didn't put it on properly!) and we didn't notice until after, they feel so natural. My SO *loathed* condoms before but now he always jumps for the box, no complaints
