Breast pump?

I'm I just got my breast pump today and I turned it on and put it on my chest, not my breast but it dosent feel as strong as I thought makes me feel like it won't even work.. Has anyone thought that but it works?

It will work! The medela has a function to increase the suction,not sure about others

I have an Ameda and I've actually been practicing with it, only on low to medium suction though. It definitely works lol. At 1st I was nervous about trying it out cause they say it brings on contractions but so far so good and I'm almost 37 weeks anyways. I figured I wanted to have it figured out before I'm juggling with a newborn lol. Good thing too because the 1st time I used it it made my boobs SOOOOO sore. Better to toughen them up now before I'm feeding a newborn every couple of hours haha.

Haven't used mine yet lol but I did test it and it feels so weak . I have the medela what do you have ?
