Safe?

So I’m 36 weeks and 4 days 
I’m 6cm dilated at of this morning and they still are just letting me go home .. I feel like they should be inducing labor at this point .. 
also I have went from 2-6 in 3 days so I’m progressing just very slowly 
is it safe to be this dilated and not induced ?

Are you having contractions? They probably want to keep baby in there as long as possible because it’s better for them. I was 4cm dilated at 38 weeks and didn’t give birth until 41 weeks.

Has your water broke? 
From what they’ve told me if you aren’t having consistent close contractions and your water isn’t broken then you’ll be sent home. 
I don’t think they can legally induce you until 37weeks unless there are complications.

I was at a 6 for 2 weeks, if they have no real reason to induce they probably won’t. I still didn’t go into labor on my own though, I was induced at 38 weeks, at 7 cm dilated 🤦🏾‍♀️😂 funny (not really) how this thing works 🥴 I literally cried when he checked me that first time at a 5 stretchy 6 & said “okay, we’re all done here” 😂 I was like excuse me what? My first daughter I was a 4 forever !! Didn’t really go into labor until I was a 6 🤦🏾‍♀️

That’s usually considered active labor. I’d be very alarmed by being sent home.

I’m not sure if it’s a matter of safety for the baby but I would think that that’s way too close to labor to send you home. Like if your water breaks your going to be close to end zone.

I’d be worried when labor truly starts about not making it back to the hospital in time.
