Hair Dye ?

My hair is neon green rn, it’s faded a lot so it’s a really light green, but not too light. I want my hair to be blonde, I was wondering if after I bleach it I can do blonde dye over it a few days later?? Like I want it blonde but not bleach blonde if that makes sense, and I feel like the green will only come out if I bleach it. Any suggestions???

A pic would be awesome if you wanna message me ! If it's really light you might be able to get away with lightening more. Be sure to use a toner if you do decide to do this (not just a shampoo but the actual toning mix and place it ONLY where the green is not on any roots). To get rid of green you may need to check out a toning chart. I know blue and purples remove brassiness but never had green so just double check!How are your roots (grown out/natural or green too)?

I used to dye my hair all the time but I’m like 99.9% confident that if you bleach it, it won’t take it all out and you’ll have green undertones to your blonde hair.
Which may not even be noticeable but sometimes tap water (like in the shower) and especially chlorine water in pools can bring out the green. Not to mention, the dye will fade a little in a few weeks to more show off the green dye.
You may have to bleach, use lots of purple shampoo and conditioner, then bleach again in a month.
Unless you want to use a darker color than blonde. You could even get away with like a honey or dark blonde probably but nothing too light.

If it was semi permanent, wash your hair with washing up liquid to try and get all the colour out, you could put bleach on top but it will likely just make the green lighter so you may have to do it a few times before the green is fully out. If you choose a hair colour darker than the green then it should be okay
