How do you deal with guilt-tripping in-laws? Last night we informed my MIL that we are doing BLW and today she came over complaining she hadn’t slept last night and that she’s having chest pains, she suffers from heart defects and has been told if she has another heart attack that she’s done for, anyway when my boyfriend got home she told him that us wanting to do BLW is stressing her out and making her unwell and told him that if our daughter chokes we’ll be charged with murder..... so how are we supposed to deal with this? Has anyone had a similar experience? I offered to let her read the books I bought, but she’s just too old-fashioned to think outside the box. I worry she’s going to change my boyfriends mind about it all by using her heart and stress as an excuse. BLW is a decision that we made together, and he was so excited for it.
