Removing nexaplon

I had got my birth control removed, worst thing ever. I had nexaplon and during I had my period for two months maybe less then a month. I had stopped about last week & I got it removed two days ago . I just started my period again and it’s really heavy extremely & idk if that’s normal for after getting it or not? My gyno didn’t tell me anything afterwards
