my 6 year old step son brought a picture he made at school and his teacher labelled it for him. It said “I get mad when Kye bites me.” Kye is our dog and he has never once bit anyone ever. I asked him if Kye had ever bit him and he said no so I asked why he would draw a picture like that and say Kye bites him then? He laughed and said because I wanted to. I tried to explain to him that its not a very nice thing to say and lying is not okay. His teacher never said anything to me or his dad ( that i know of ) but she obviously thinks our dog bites him now. I know kids lie but like this? He loves Kye and plays with him all the time. Kye isn’t much of a play dog with the kids because hes just so careful with them. He is so protective. I just don’t understand why he would say something like that.
