Still using a monitor?

Do you still use a monitor at night? Our son’s bedroom is right next to ours, but we do use a sound machine so I worry I might not hear him without the monitor. He doesn’t usually need much during the night but sometimes cries once until I go give his pacifier back to him (which we plan to stop using soon). What are y’all doing?

My daughters 2 and I still use a monitor. I can usually hear her if she’s crying but I like to be able to watch to see what’s wrong and if I should go in or let her self-soothe. She’s also close to being able to crawl out of her crib so that’s another reason I still like to being able to see her.

I still use the monitor in my 4 year olds room plus my 2 year olds too. I’ll keep using it for as long as they let me

Still using a monitor. She is down the hall from us and I am
pretty sure I could hear her but I like to not even think about it. Also can check to see if she is okay if she randomly cries out without going in there. We are also welcoming our second next month and when he is older
we won’t have to figure out which kid is crying

I still use a monitor its more so for my sake and to make sure he falls alseep or if you gets out of bed I will know.

Thanks! Good to know others are still using one. My husband said he doesn’t think it’s necessary and I was curious what other parents are doing at this age.

We use it for peace of mind. Someday, he might decide to climb out of his crib. It also has a temperature reading so I know if it’s too hot or cold in his room.

Still using  the baby monitor  camera  and white noise she will be 2 next week.
I have my 4 month old son in the bed in our room and he is really fussy so he sleeps with white  noise too 
So I have the fear of not hearing my daughter so still use the camera and bought another  one for my baby when he takes a nap in his room
