Why is it better to have someone's all

I need help with wording something
Why would you lovely lot say it is better to have someone's all, instead of having a little bit from a lot of people. 
Meaning why is it better to have someone be exclusive to you than be involved with people who ain't.

Because one of the things we crave the most as humans is to have a home. That sense of a place that is our own, where we are safe, and secure. And when you are with someone that you are totally committed to they are your home. You could be living under a bridge and yet with them you are home

I second this and add not only for infections and diseases. If you are in a open relationship or they are not being faithful or friends with benefits or whatever it may be hooking up etc., being preventative by being exclusive is also it has its benefits. You don’t have to worry about getting infections like chlamydia etc.
