My food tastes like metal, is that a sign of pregnancy?

Tomorrow is my expected period. I'm hopeful! I was just eating my lunch at work, same food as always, and it tasted so bad I couldn't eat it!   
I also keep smelling random specific things that are nowhere near me. Like chlorine or rubbing alcohol. Super odd.

Please comment if you have experienced any of these things!!!

YES!! Metallic taste + bad after taste is a sign of pregnancy. My friend is 3m along and every time she eats over the past few months she's always complaining how bad the after taste is + a strange metallic taste...read that various places online as well. Goodluck! =)
