Mine refuses to sit. He arches his back and shoots his body back.

Nope. I try and he just faceplants, the poor guy 😂. He's got a big ol' 90th percentile head though and is real short so I think his head throws him off balance. My 4 year old, who has a 99th percentile head and a 1st percentile height didn't sit until 7.5 months, so I'm expecting the same for him.
My 2 year old was sitting at 5 months, though. Hoping he will be the same! It is so much easier when they can just sit in the floor and play with toys!

She isn’t, but I’m not super worried. She was a month early and she is starting to do crunches with sitting assisted and working on her core. I know she’ll get there. :)

We try sitting, but he loves his feet too much to want to sit without bending down to get them

We’re unassisted for the most part. Never really got the tripod stage down. But we also don’t roll onto our belly 🤷🏼‍♀️
