Help with 1 year old

I'm am trying to stop co-sleeping and stop nursing to sleep but LO just screams and screams if I dont nurse him back to sleep. The only way I can get him to sleep in his bed is if I get him to sleep on my arms and extremely carefully move him....any tips or tricks....also he is in our bedroom due to not having enough bedrooms (upgrading soon)
