Not eating enough?

Question

When do babies go up to 8oz per feeding? My LO is at 6oz of formula every 4 hours for a total of 24oz per day, which I’ve read is the minimum they should have. I worry because she is small, was only 13.6lbs at her 4 month and only just now getting into 3-6 month clothing. Should I offer more formula?

My 5.5 month old is 16 lbs and takes 6-8oz at a time, sometimes totals 35-40oz a day 😅

I would try to feed more often, don’t offer more at a time but we do 5 feedings of 6 oz a day, so he gets to 30 each day

Offer an extra ounce here and there and see how your LO does. Mine can ALWAYS take more so we’re careful to keep it from turning into a crazy ounce fest

If baby still seems hungry after bottle is empty then yes. Like if baby's still sucking then they could probably drink more

If she hasn’t waken up during the night for a bottle, in the morning I offer 8oz. She usually drinks 6 and a half or 7, then she eats 5-6oz every 3-4 hours and her last bottle I offer 8oz. She usually eat 4-5 bottles a day. And she’s 5 months and over 20lbs lol

Mine is doing between 3 and 6 ounces every 3 hours. If she cries after 6 ounces and has burped then I offer more. She usually won't go above 7 but even that is rare 😆 she is eating like a bird lately

My lo gets 30oz a day. He's also a big boy!

My oldest was a formula baby and when he was eating his most he was only taking 7oz a feed. And he was a big baby, 90th percentile. I think as long as they seem full and the doctor isn’t concerned about their weight, there’s no need to worry.
