Would you be upset?

So my husband and I keep our finances separate for multiple reasons, primary reason being, he’s irresponsible with money. We both make good money, but I make about 20K a year more. I pay for all of the household bills, groceries and daycare and medical bills for our son, which total almost 5K a month. He gives me between $6-800 a month to help. Again, he’s irresponsible with money, has child support payments to make from

a previous relationship and has a lot of credit card debt. So I am always grateful for what he can give me, even if it’s not “equal.” Well for his refund this year he got $7K more than I did. So he says he would give me 2K of it so I said awesome, how generous of you. He then went and bought a trailer and 2 ATVs and now he says he can’t give me what he originally said he would give me. I told him it upsets me that I wasn’t a financial priority and he says I’m throwing money in his face.
