Can I trigger shot after you ovulate??

Will a trigger shot release all remaining mature eggs if you ovulate on your own? Just curious because I feel like I'm ovulating tonight but appt is in the morning

So a trigger shot sends the follicles and eggs into the final stages of maturation whilst promoting the follicle to release the egg. If you have more than one follicle that is measurable and you have not ovulated all of them, then yes, the additional MATURE (not small little follicles- ones 17mm+) will also release. Ideally, anyway. However if you don't have any other mature follicles and they see a corpus luteam today, they likely will now have you trigger as you've already ovulated.
