Please help. How much formula does your 3 month old eat in one feeding?

My mom says I can’t give more then 170ml which is annoying as heck because 180ml is 6oz why would I dump 10ml out? Anyways I don’t listen to her because it makes no sense to me. Right now I feed 6oz but he’s hungry still right after feeding he literally asks for more. What’s the most I can give him?

Where did she get this information from? Wtf? if hes hungry, you feed him. My daughter had 8 ounces but didnt eat as frequently... if I gave her 6 ounces, she would've been eating alot more frequently. Obviously if your baby is eating 6 or more ounces every hour then I'd start to question it but my pediatrician always said if shes hungry you feed her if she wants more give her more and would ask me how much she eats daily and big her bottles are.

As much as he’ll eat. I would up by an ounce at a time.

I always start with 4oz then do 2 every bottle after that until he's satisfied, hes almost 3m. I do little bits at a time until I'm not getting hunger cues so im not wasting a ton if he ended up not being too hungry
