Am I overreacting

So my boyfriend has always been the type of guy who has more female friends. He has guy friends too but more of his closer friends are females. I’ve never had a problem with him hanging out with them because I really do trust him. However a couple of days ago I had a really weird feeling, something was just different. I called him on my way home one night and he said hey my friend is gonna call me so I may have to go, that really had me butt hurt (I started my period two days later so that could be why but idk) so the next morning I asked what she wanted because he had said she’d been dealing with stuff. I wanted to make sure everything was ok but at the same time I was being nosey lol. He said he couldn’t tell me because it wasn’t his business to tell. Again I get hella butt hurt. After like ten minutes of us talking and me being butt hurt he told me what she needed. So basically she told him she didn’t want to tell him anymore because there was nothing she could do about it and he said no just tell me. So she said she had feelings for him and that she knew she couldn’t do anything about it. So I was over here getting mad because obvs.. lol. Then I started to get a lil upset because I was like wait you lied to me.. you could’ve just told me... so I’m upset and I don’t want him talking to her. Am I overreacting..?
