Ear Blister?

Question

Does anyone have any advice on what this is or what it looks like? It just appeared on my 5 year old today, he said it itches. I've never seen anything like it. I was going to call his doctor on Monday, but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas until they open Monday.

I think this is an old post, so sorry if I’m really late to the party. I found the image while googling the same issue for myself.
It could be juvenile spring eruption. They present like blisters on the ears and mainly just make the person uncomfortable for a week or 2 before they go away. Very common in young boys.
Check with the doctor obviously, but I get them and they don’t do any harm.
I thought for years it was sun poisoning because I only got it when I forgot to put sunscreen on my ears. Now I get them randomly even with minimal exposure. Adding sunscreen to your daily regimen with him may help.

Could be a reaction/ bite but also wanted to add that this is exactly how chicken pox started for me... I was 23 so remember well!
I know some countries vaccinate in which case it’s unlikely if he’s had a vaccine but thought I’d comment as looks so familiar!
