Do you think it’s necessary to teach your children about the reproductive system at an early age?

I’ve seen some crazy things. A lot of teenagers engaging in sex and not fully understanding how their bodies work. I plan to teach my kids at an earlier age. I’m thinking at the age of 9/10. I know having that “sex talk” doesn’t prevent pregnancy but at least it will educate them on the risks. Some schools where I live do provide sex-ed. However, I realized a lot of kids were having sex before then. I fully respect any parents decision not to engage in this talk with their kids. It is not my place to judge any parenting style. Although, I do believe it is beneficial for children to have this knowledge.
