We live in Canada - in an area that is about half French speaking and half English speaking. We have come up with the name Lachlan/Lochlan and would be pronouncing it like Lock- Lun.
How would you spell it to get this pronunciation?

Love this name! I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen it spelled with an O. I’ve seen it Lachlan or one time I met someone who’s parents spelled it Locklin and I definitely didn’t like that spelling.

I love the name. I personally like Lochlan, but both are traditional spellings, so don’t have anyone tell you only one way is the correct way. I have a friend who has a Lachlan and another who has a Lochlan.
