Tips on transitioning out of Snuggle Me

My LO is about to outgrow his Snuggle Me, I know they have a toddler one but I’d rather him be able to sleep without it. Any other moms have a baby who’s attached to and can’t sleep unless in theirs? Desperate for tips/tricks on how to wean him out of it. He sleeps in it for naps and night sleep, I’ve tried just taking it out but he sleeps for 2 minutes then is up and screaming until I put him in it.. Thanks in advance!
