Covid and pregnancy ?

Has anyone ever tested positive for covid while being pregnant ? How was it ? Any risks? Asking for a friend

Yes, I tested positive for Covid 3 weeks ago. I’m 23 weeks along. Luckily the only symptom I had was loss of smell and taste for about 5 days. Other than that, my OB is going to have me go in for an ultrasound every 4 weeks just to make sure baby is growing on track. Right now they don’t know enough about Covid and how it affects pregnancy, but luckily he’s had 5 patients with it that have all had normal deliveries with healthy babies so hoping for the best. 🤞🏼

I had covid at the very start of my pregnancy, I was probably 3-4 weeks but it wasn’t terrible, I did have headaches and body aches but that was really it, no cough or fever. I just rested and stayed hydrated, here I am now 24 weeks and my baby is as healthy as can be. Don’t overthink it, just take care of yourself a little extra and let your ob know.

I think I have been exposed...these past few days I’ve been feeling like I have a head cold, slight headaches, and congestion. Going to get tested tomorrow. But for the ladies who has gone through this during pregnancy what did you take? Right now I’m taking about two Tylenol a day and drinking hot tea with honey/lemon.  Currently 26wks
