AF is killing me

OK so I just started this morning but I am hardly bleeding at all but I am hurting so bad. I'm having cramps like I never have before I feel sick. Is this just going to be a bad period or do y'all think it's bc I started the prenatal vitamins for women trying to get pregnant? No medicine or heating pad that s helping ... in my 26 years I have never hurt this bad from AF
