I’m 16 and I’ve been talking to this guy since July. He’s turning 17 and going to college next year. We live in the same state but have never met each other in person. He says he likes me and wants something with me even though I’ll be in 11th grade next year he still wants to make it work. It’s been 5 months and we hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend. But then again he is really confusing at times. He won’t text me for a day or he’ll leave me on open or just tell me he’s busy and apologized for not texting me. Whenever he does come around to texting me he says he misses me (which I think is bs).I want to give him the benefit of the doubt since he is a football player, a senior, and preparing for college. We always talk about how he needs to communicate and let me know what’s going on with him. But he never does. I just want to know if I’m being selfish? Or if I can’t take a hint that he’s just leading me on?
