How many boxes of size one (newborn) diapers will I need?

Pregnant and I’m trying to figure out how many boxes of newborn diapers we’ll need? The pampers ones go from 6-14 pounds I believe.
With our first, she was 6.9 pounds, and I am clueless on how many diapers we used. Because of the pandemic, after I give birth I’m hoping to not leave the house at all really for the first 2 months of her being home. 
How many boxes of diapers do you think I’ll need for 2 months? How many newborn sized and size 2?

I wouldn’t bulk buy diapers, especially newborn. Our daughter was in NB for a long time, then grew like a weed then stopped again. Maybe get 1-2 boxes? 
If you’re interested in cloth diapering, it could be a helpful back up in case you run out.

Don’t get more than one box. Especially if you have a car or someone that can get you things easily. Babies sometimes leak out of certain brands (different for each baby) or sometimes they get rashes from certain brands. What brand worked for last baby might not for this baby. If you stock up you’ll have too many diapers that might not work for your kid.

My baby used 3 packs, that is about 200 diapers. And the last ones already were leaking a bit, we just tried to use all up we had before sizing up...

Pampers size one is 8-14 pounds. Size two is 12-18 pounds. 
We were given a ton of newborn diapers which I wish we returned some since my son was 9 pounds and 8 ounces when born. The following week he weighed 10 pounds and 5 ounces. He only fit newborn for 2 weeks. We got one extra large box of size one and one small box - and now he is size 2 at 7 weeks old. 
I would just get a box of each size and if your child runs out then buy more. You never know how quickly or slowly they will grow.

8lbs 12oz when she was born!

With my 4 week old son, we only used one box (he was 7lbs 5oz when he was born.) My 2 year old daughter we used a couple I believe (she was only 6lbs 4oz when born.)
