Had my 3 hour glucose test today and wanted to share my experience! I was nervous going in because of the stories I’ve heard involving people who have passed out or thrown up.

I didn’t think it was too bad at all! The drink did make me a little light-headed. I got the lemon/lime and it’s not good but not terrible. I waited in my car (instead of the waiting room) so I could recline my chair and breathe without a mask. The first hour was the worst and went by slowly. I slightly woozy and enjoyed laying back and resting. After that the time went pretty quickly and I felt well enough to do work in the car while I waited!

Just wanted to share this in case anyone else is nervous! Try to go in with a positive mind and I wish everyone the best of luck!
