Light switch covers

Question

Any recommendations on baby proofing light switches? We bought some that’s supposed to have a car to block it, but it’s super easy to pop off. Other ones I’ve seen are only open on the sides, which she’ll be able to figure out immediately

I don’t understand why you’d baby proof a light switch. It’s not dangerous...if they get to it, they might be interested for a couple weeks and then they’ll leave it alone.

I’ve never heard about proofing a light switch. We just taught him to leave the light switches alone. He was super interested in flipping them when he first grew tall enough, but that didn’t last real long. We talked a lot about only having a light on when in that room and now he’s pretty good about it. Oftentimes it‘a helpful because we can ask him to turn on a light and he’ll happily do it for us.
