Did your partner stop having sex with you towards the end of pregnancy ?!

I’m currently 37+6 days pregnant and my husband doesn’t want to have sex anymore because he’s afraid and terrified that my water will break or that he’ll hurt me during sex 😪 its our first baby so he’s terrified for everything! Everyone has tolled him have sex so she can have an easy birth and dilate faster blah blah but he doesn’t want to and I’m getting sexually frustrated because I miss him in that way :( doctor even tolled him it was safe and it just in one ear and out the other lol. Anyone else relate?!

Yeah, with my 1st he was kinda freaked out about it early on, and then once I was really showing he didn’t want to either. So we pretty much only had sex a handful of times during my 2nd trimester. Life has been really busy/stressful this time, so we haven’t had a lot of sex, but when we have he hasn’t seemed hesitant like last time (still pretty early, we’ll see when I get big again 🤷🏻‍♀️). It bothered me he didn’t want to sleep with me, but I also wanted to respect his feelings. It’s not enjoyable to have sex if you’re worried or not wanting to, so I didn’t want to push the issue for him.

My husband was the same way and honestly, I get it. Lol. It is simply awkward towards the end and I know he was uncomfortable so I didn't press the issue. There are other forms of pleasure though so maybe try that route with your husband. 🙂

Talked to him yourself and tell him that you're getting frustrated and that soon you truly can't do it for 6 weeks at least. So best do it now lol
