5 things to like about kids

Some people are kinda psycho I think. Just reading a lot of antinatalist crap and their views on kids are whack. They really think people don’t actually like kids. “They just make themselves think they do.” PFFT. So I’m gonna name off the top 5 reason to like kids, to enjoy their company and to like being friends with them.

This isn’t reasons to have kids lmfao or reasons you SHOULD like them, but they’re just reasons I personally do like them. They’re all true.

I also want to add this is coming from a childfree by choice person so I do not have kids and do not plan on any in the near future.

1. They see the world through innocent eyes.

They explore the world with so much joy, even nature. They find the fun in things adults find mundane.. like ant hills or air planes. Have you ever shown a child something new to them that just absolutely bewildered them? That’s a new soul in front of you.

2. Their imaginations. You could be in a completely empty room and for kids, that can be a blank canvas for imagination. The floor is lava.

3. This will sound funny.. but their teeth and laughs. Toddlers have the funniest laughs and tiny little teeth and sometimes they don’t have all their teeth yet so their smile is goofy as hell and come on you can’t tell me that is not cute.

4. How light they are. As long as you are near a bed, or a soft landing you can YEET them and the best part about this is that they think it’s freaking hilarious. When I was smaller I was able to fit inside air up bouncy houses and would yeet my brother across the bouncy house and make him crack up hysterically. I’ve never injured a child by YEETING Them.

ALWAYS YEET WITH CAUTION.

5. They are judgment free. They don’t care if you’re having a bad hair day, or are dressed like a sack of potatoes or have a face full of acne.

If you are good and kind to them, they are good and kind to you. They are most accepting and loving human beings humanity has to offer.

They are excited about everything. You could say you’re gonna take them out ANYWHERE and they’re excited to go. They ask and ask about it so they know what to expect and they will just genuinely enjoy anywhere you take them and it’s makes trips to wherever you’re going even more fun because of their excitement.
