So Friday night I had sharp shooting pains straight up inside. By Saturday they hadn't eased up. I decided to head to the hospital and just get checked out since it was the weekend. I go there and they told me i was 3cm and called my doctor and he said to walk the hospital for 2 hours then get checked again. I did that came back and the same girl said I was 4cm and they were going to break my water and start pitocin. I turned it down because I wanted to walk more and try to do it myself (my sons labor was terrible and I wanted to go natural for as long as I could) went walking for two more hours and came back and she said I was 5cm and they were keeping me. They said they were going to let me progress on my own at that point because I had been. They put my iv in (in the most terrible way; picture) and started fluids and took me to labor and delivery. This was around 12:30 around 3am I asked if they were going to check me and they said only if I felt pressure or like I needed to push or around 5am. At 5:30 she tried to check me and about killed me. She said she couldn't reach my cervix 😩😒 she'd wait for the day person to come in. That happened around 7:30am and this nurse said ummm you're only 2.5cm and they sent me home.
