Letrozole and Provera question

I conceived my DD last year on letrozole. To start my first round, my OB prescribed me 10mg Provera for 5 days and the very next day I have my withdrawal bleed to start a medicated cycle.

We are now 9 months PP and want to try again. I have a new OB who prescribed me Provera 10mg for 10 days. I’m feeling impatient and was considering only taking it for 5 since my body responded to it last time with 5 days. Thoughts? I’d hate to somehow mess myself up and delay it more but thinking about it. I didn’t get a chance to ask her and TBH she’s not as helpful as my last OB

And she only prescribed me 2.5mg when my last doc prescribed 5mg. So worried this is a waste but I don’t want to double up the dosage and have one less month since she only wrote me three cycles total
