I had a guy friend (known each other 2/3 years) I was just hanging out w more after a break up w my now bf and he asked me if I wanted to hook up and I declined because I was talking w my now bf again. He asked to get dinner next week and when I told him I was spending time with my bf he just sent a peace emoji and said based on how I’m responding to emotionally I should have asked you out and said good luck :) “ I didn’t even respond because he probably needed some space but man ain’t that some shit and now I believe guys and girls can’t be friends. It feels really bad to feel like I hurt someone but he didn’t communicate he wanted anything only a hook up. Based on how he reacted though I now for sure would not want date him. :(
