Can a breastfed baby be constipated?

Can a 4mo, almost 5mo who’s exclusively breastfed no solids get constipated? I know they can go days without pooping, but my LO is on day 3. Super stinky farts a lot. Refusing to eat. He has gotten into routine of only two feeding per night but last night he was up for 2h after going to bed, & he was up every 1.5-2h after that. I know there’s a 4m regression too, we’ve already dealt with that & he’ll literally be 5m in like 3 days. I’ve been bicycling his legs, gave him gripe water & omg the amount of gas that came out & super smelly. Nothing in my diet has changed either. Has anyone experienced this?

Nope. Breastmilk is a natural laxative. Unless there is hard pellet poops it’s not constipation. They can go up to 12days without pooping

Yes it happens. When it happened for me I just added more salads to my diet, fixes the problem. Good luck

My little one only poops every day 8-10 days 🤷‍♀️ he’s exclusively breastfed and not on solids yet. When he poos it isn’t hard but actually runny. However the two days before hand he can have really bad gas and I do bicycle legs and stomach massages as this seems to make him feel better.
