Shoes Size for Toddlers?

My 2 now 3 years old daughter was in a size 6 but 7’s were too small.. with that said... why can I not find a size 8 anywhere right now?  Is there a gap in the sizes that I’m missing?  Please help.. we need shoes! Lol

I had trouble with an 8 as well for my son. Didn't help that my son has some wide-ass feet and the 8s we did find were too slim. 
I ended up just buying a couple pairs of size 9s (he will need them eventually) and he wore those until I finally found the 8s.

I'm having trouble finding size 10s for my almost 3 year old. I think because they grow so fast toddler sizes go fast.

Size 8 was hard for us to find too. It was always out of stock in stores and sometimes online too. I just kept checking daily and when it came in stock, I quick ordered a pair.
