Low motility and abnormal morphology
Hi guys, my husband and I did an IUI in June 2018 to conceive our daughter. He has low motility and abnormal morphology. The numbers did fluctuate and got a bit better the months leading up to the IUI. I also ovulate late in my cycle (which is somewhat irregular) and get my period at around 9DPO. Our doctor told us there was a possibility for conceiving naturally.
We are currently on cycle 2 of actively trying for our 2nd baby but weren’t preventing for the past 6 months (I need to add we didn’t try too hard during the past 6 months though lol). I’m now on prenatals, we are both eating healthy and my husband is taking supplements as well. I’m really hoping we will be able to conceive naturally this time around, but I’m already worried about dealing with the same problems and disappointment we lived through the first time.
Anyway I am reading contradictory info on male factor infertility and I was wondering if you had some answers for me. How often should we have sex during my fertile window? Is it better to do it every other day? Every three days?? I know for a “healthy” couple every day is good, but I’m not sure it’s the same when dealing with low motility and abnormal morphology. So far we tried every second day until the day before ovulation and then ovulation day and the day after as well.
Thanks for any insights you guys may have
