Marrying a younger person

I'm engaged to a man much much younger than I am. I love him like I've never loved another man and I feel the love from him. My problem is that I'm wondering if marrying him is fair to him. By marrying him am I keeping him from having a relationship with someone his own age whom he can grow old with?  Is this fair to him?
