Have any of you ever had a LEAP surgery? I had one when I was 17, due to an abmormal pap smear they cut part of my cervix to remove precancerous cells. Thank God I switched my OB b/c my previous doctor didn't even ask about any of my Prior history. So now tomorrow I am going to get an ultrasound to measure my cervical length. The nurse told me they do this to make sure my cervix is competent to hold a baby!! I said, and what if its not?! Then the doctor will discuss that with you they said! So I did some research and almost everyone was perfectly fine I just saw that it could cause preterm labor. Has anyone gone through a similar situation?! Trying to stay positive and hope all goes well tomorrow!!☺☺☺
