Evap or indent?

What's the difference between the two? How do they look on a test? I've always been confused about that. Thanks!

If I am not mistaken, an evap may appear positive after the time frame allowed for reading the results. An indent is normally a stark white line where one would have appeared if pregnant, which almost seems like an insult. Lol

to my understanding the evaporate line can appear gray but only shows up after urine has dried which is after the time frame that you are supposed to read it. If the line has color it's most likely a positive
