If you get sick are you getting a Covid test?

I have a sore throat and my oldest has a runny nose and a low grade fever yesterday. I feel like we just have an ordinary cold but wonder if we should get a covid test to rule it out?

Yes! Unless you plan to quarantine completely for two weeks. Get tested. You may be fine but it may kill someone you expose.

I’m a SAHM but my husband work, my kids and I got so my husband went and took the Covid test.  I’m sure all is well, because 2-3 days later we’re all feeling much better, but you can never be too sure or careful.

Yes!! Especially if you’re showing signs of Covid, in which those are. You can expose other people who could get really sick and die from it. It’s better to know if you have it or not unless you plan to self quarantine everyone in your family for 14days.

I said yes. I work in a nursing home. We’re already getting tested twice weekly. But my husband said if he wasn’t feeling well he would. Better safe than sorry.
