The silver lining to another negative
Tonight was our second negative result. And I'm feeling empty in ways I didn't know was possible. Only our very good friends and neighbors know we are TTC and they were over tonight and I shared with them our disappointing news. In response I heard the best thing one could possibly hear when faced with a big fat negative result. Here's what our friend said, "That just means the soul that's meant for you two wasn't ready."
And then tears.
They are right. And that was exactly what I needed to hear. I hope someone else who is facing these empty emotions will read this and feel a glimmer of hope. Maybe next month, maybe next year. But the soul that is meant to be your little gift will find you when he or she is ready.
