My boyfriend said that when he was in the hospital for overdosing, he was tested for sexual diseases. Is this true? (Do they actually test for that on random hospital visits?) Or is he just saying that cause I wanted him to get tested.

He's probably lying. Tell him you want the paper test results, if he got tested they would give him a record of the test and whether or not he tested positive for anything. Good luck.

It really depends where you are, if you live in British Columbia Canada anyone from the age of 15-80 has to be tested for hiv even if they don't know it. This has been a mandatory test for the last few months as I can remember.

Sometimes it depends on what the overdose was on. If it was something intravenous then yes they might have. But the proof is in the writing!
