Feedings

So I’ve posted this before and don’t feel like I really got any decent answers, but is anyone else’s baby having huge fluctuations when it comes to feedings? My baby went from having 24oz a day, down to 20, and now she’s at 15?! I’m trying super hard to not ‘force’ bottles, but I’m so paranoid that she’s not getting enough again. I know i just need to listen to her and hunger cues, but she’s definitely not letting me give her anymore at this point.

Does anyone else have these kind of fluctuations with feedings? I’d feel better if it was just off by 2oz or 4oz but almost 10oz?! 😩

Having wet diapers is an important indicator to baby eating enough. Our daughter only has 12 oz from 5am to 5pm while at daycare. She just doesn’t want more. No idea how much she eats in the evening because she’s nursing, but she also sleeps through the night. I told her daycare provider not to worry about it because she’s still happy and herself and she has plenty of bonus calories on her body. She’s a chunk!

If you’re concerned reach out to your pediatrician. It’s recommended baby be getting at least 24 oz a day and having at least 6 saturated diapers.

How many wet diapers is she having a day? If it’s 4-6 then she is getting all she needs.

I think I’d take my baby to the pediatrician. They are supposed to get 24-32 oz a day!

I think as long as you babe is gaining weight you should be good.
