Pcos and male factor infertility

So I havent been on here in a while. Im looking for someone who might share a similar journey of ttc.

Fertility stuff officially started in 2018 when I went to the doc and got diagnosed with PCOS. Did fertility stuff for over a year for my end of things with no luck. So we started testing my husbands hormones and what not. Doctors suggested that he might have a blockage of his vas deferens.

We did 2 SA's and both came back zero.  We did a FSH LH hormone check and everything came back in normal ranges.

After checking those things we went to a urologist, the first tests were through my OB who does stuff for fertility as well..

We discovered an old accident lead to my husband having a hydrocele for 12 years in his groin area and he didnt know about it. He had an accident where he got beat up and kicked repeatedly and while it hurt he was too ashamed to go get it checked when it happened.

The urologist did an ultrasound and found the hydrocele.

In May 2020 I had surgery for a pain in my lower abdomen. I had an infection by my left ovary and was septic and spent a few days in the hospital on IV antibiotics before we did surgery. We discovered that I had endometrial tissue trapping my left ovary. We did an exploratory laproscopy to find that. A D/C to help reset things and ended up getting an appendectomy also.

Anyways.. back to my husband.... we did a surgery in July 2020 for the hydrocele. Did repeat hormone levels and SA's and we got the same result. They did a cystic fibrosis marker  testing  too cause I learned that CF can cause malformities in the vas deferns.

So we scheduled surgery.... the surgeon ended up reconnecting the vas deferens on both sides for my husband. And now we're waiting and hes healing.

Has anyone's spouse gone through vas deferns reconstructive urgery?
