Changing schools

I’m at a teacher at the same daycare center my daughter goes to. She’s 20 months old and we have been in this center for about 8 months.. she loves her friends and teacher.

A job opportunity came up at a private school. I’ll be making more money, less stress and I feel it would be a better educational setting for my daughter.

I’m feeling guilty for moving her since she’s used to the the people and routine.

What would you do?

Would you move your child?

I would definitely move my child if I had the opportunity to bring them somewhere better

Absolutely!! I know it’s hard but honestly at that young of an age they’re way more adaptable and it’s easier to make new friends. Sounds like a great opportunity and you should take it! I think pre-teen/teens are the hardest age to move because it’s an awful age trying to make friends!

I think as long as you seem happy and the baby is with you, they’ll be happy 😃 go for it!! And good luck with whatever decision you make!

Go for it!I totally get the hesitation and anxiety about it. When we moved states the most stressful part for me was making my then-20-month-old change daycares. He was totally fine though. It took a week to get into our groove but he made new friends and has a blast there.
