Six miscarriages.. Is there any hope?

We’ve had 6 miscarriages.. 3 during quarantine with a hospital stay included.. starting Ivf next month.. has anyone had 6 miscarriages and then had a baby with Ivf?? I’m so nervous..

So sorry for your losses. I have had 5 mc’s. I did ivf I did 3 rounds of ivf. 
1st round embryos not tested MC at 15 weeks baby had trisomy 21, 
2nd pgs tested embryo 6 week Mc
3rd round tested emb doc changed my protocol and added lovenox to my cycle and i feel like that helped currently 29 weeks pregnant💙🌈
I do recommend you do pgs testing reason I say that is because they test the embryos for abnormalities.

I had 4 MC and was skeptical about whether or not ivf would work. I figured I had no problem getting pregnant, just maintaining. My first transfer worked, though tbh I did MC one of the twins. The other was born healthy and she is my first successful pregnancy and child. It can happen!

Yes, I’ve had 5! But as the other post here said, I also recommend PGS testing to improve your chances.

I never got pregnant on my own at all. And first round of ivf icsi worked.

I’ve had 4 losses, then had my daughter through a hybrid cycle. 2 losses after her and 2 failed hybrid cycles. Trying a new protocol in February and if that fails we’ll be moving to ivf. My RE didn’t recommend IVF right away due to my age and my ability to get pregnant easily. She said it was an egg quality problem and put me on some supplements to help with that.

You need to ask your RE to run recurrant miscarridge blood testing prior to commencing IVF due to your history. Might be autoimmune disorder or elevated natural killer cells. If those are present and without the medication you will spend all your money and keep miscarryng. I am having it done next month due to 3 consecutive biochemical loses via ivf icsi. Had to wait 3 cycles since my last chemical and it takes few weeks for the results to come.

I’ve had five consecutive losses since October 2019, I’m with ya girl! We’re going to IVF as well but I have to wait until February because I had the methotrexate shot in October. I’m soooo nervous it won’t work but if it fails, I can say I tried my damn hardest. Best of luck with you, like others mentioned I’m doing PGS testing of embryos and asking to have ERA before first transfer. Hearing everyone’s stories on this thread gives me soooo much hope! My hubby had a sperm analysis last year but he’ll need another test for insurance purposes so instead of just the normal analysis test, it’ll be the dna fragmentation!

I would definitely spend the extra money to test your embryos for chromosomal abnormalities in this case.  Also ask about including lovenox and aspirin in your cycle.  It’s definitely possible for you to still have a successful pregnancy.
