2 year old and 4 year old in a bunk bed?

Put the 2 year old on the bottom bunk. Will probably be ok. My 2 year old has a low loft with a slide. The only time he has fallen off was when his cousin got him started jumping on it.

It really depends on your kids. Do they ever wake up during the night? My brother was 5 or 6 and had been sleeping on the top bunk for a while, woke up one night to go to the bathroom, fell and broke his arm. You also have to consider do you let them play in their room unsupervised. My older boys have a bunk bed and my 2 year old loves to sneak in there and climb on the top bunk but he can’t get back down safely. Personally, at 2 and 4 I’d get them a twin bed with a trundle. You still get two beds and room to play during the day but it’s a lot safer.

My sister and I were in bunk beds at that age. She was top (4) and had a bar so she couldn't fall out

we have a toddler bunk for for our almost 3 & 1.5 year old. you can always buy a guard rail to put under the mattress for the bottom bunk (ours is ground level).

Depends on the kids! I think in a year my 3 year old would be very capable to be on a top bunk and she was in a twin size bed before two.
