Medicaid or insurance?

I’m 5 weeks pregnant and I’m 16, I used to have Medicaid but not anymore , do anyone know how i can file for Medicaid myself or do I need to ask my mom to do it so I can check up on the baby, I have an appointment on the 3rd at a free clinic i go to but they onyly said they are going to confirm the pregnancy and give me paper for wic and a obgyn..

Call your local wic office. They gave me the contact information so I could get the insurance set up.

If your applying for medicaid it will have to be under your mom . Most states approve medicaid the second you say your pregnant but I don't know if thats the case with applicants under 18.....
Best way is to call and find out. Or ask for help for applying at the free clinic and wic

They might be able to help you with insurance at the clinic so I would definitely ask them! But you should be able to apply by yourself since when you’re pregnant your medically speaking emancipated in a way.
