Diffusing Essential oils while pregnant?

Is peppermint safe? A co worker of mine diffuses oils at work (usually peppermint/ lemon/ lime ) I’ve read some articles that say peppermint is a no no, and others that say it’s ok. Not sure if it’s a no no meaning just to ingest it/ use on skin or if it shouldn’t be diffused either.

With my first my nausea was so bad I would put a small dot of peppermint oil under my nose and it helped me immensely and it didn't harm her in any way.

I think anything diffused is safe, the concern is more about ingesting and topical use of the essential oils during pregnancy.
