Should QAnon supporters be allowed in Congress?

For those of you who dont know what QAnon is.... In a nutshell its a conspiracy theory that believes that Trump is secretly working to destroy the Pedophile ring of celebrities that include the Clintons, Oprah, Tom Hanks etc...and other crazy things 
Anyway do you think that people who openly believe this conspiracy theory should be in Congress or any other political position?

While I don't believe they would be suitable for office, we can't start making laws about who can run for office based on their beliefs. That's a slippery slope we're don't need to be on.

I don’t think any mentally unstable, delusional, uneducated people should be put into positions of power. However, half our population of voters exhibit these traits, so it is sometimes the will of the people to elect nut jobs

I mean, there are plenty of crazy people in Congress now so I don’t see why not. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t believe in it, but we shouldn’t restrict it. If that’s the case, I’m sure we could come up with lists of restrictions we want placed on candidates/members.

The way you keep them out is not to vote for them, not to restrict their right to run.

But if they're voted in then there isn't much we can do about it unfortunately

Why not bring back witch hunt and exorcism if we are already at it. No, conspiracy theorists have nothing to do in a government.

We have an MPP, that currently is leading an anti-lock down protest and supporting someone who has made headlines by opening his restaurant (without a business license) against lockdown orders.  These Q ppl in government is a public health threat.  I’m so sick of it.  I certainly don’t want them in government, I’m good with science leading public health decisions.

If they individually meet the criteria to run, and are elected, I don’t see where a law is broken or where one should be created.
